Elli Anderson
Elli has always been a fairy at heart, spreading love and magic through her positive energy and everyday love for life. She has worked with kids in many settings including daycamps and public schools, and contributed to assorted theater projects growing up in the Wenatchee area . In the recent years, Elli has been a multi media artist and does hair tinseling and henna tattoos, and has lived in the Bellingham area for about 4 years
When Elli found us at Chelle Beautiful, she realized that playing with kids and making them happy, making wearable art (wings, crowns, fairy clothes), being imaginative and dressing like a rainbow while also PLAYING WITH GLITTER was what she was meant to do. She truly loves every second of providing children and the young at heart the chance to believe that magic does exist in every one of us, all the time, we just have to open up and share it! Her Motto…. *live magically everyday!* You can visit Elli, aka The Rainbow Fairy on facebook here!
Jeneen Durand
Jeneen has been a creator her whole life, with no bounds – painting, drawing, crafting, writing, cooking & baking…she always had an art/craft table out, wherever she lived. When she had her babies, those tables got put away, and sadly, never got taken back out. However, around the time her kids turned 4 and 6, she painted them for Halloween…and immediately fell in love with that medium. Since then, she’s never put the paints away!
Face painting is a perfect arena for Jeneen because she loves being and working with children (she was a preschool assistant and nanny through high school & college), and she loves the “temporary” whimsy of face painting, and the priceless looks on kid’s faces when they see themselves transformed. Jeneen grew up in Redmond, Washington (before Microsoft!) and has lived in Bellingham with her husband for the past 14 years. She graduated from WWU as a Soc/Eng major, became a massage therapist, a business owner, a mom, and now , I’m happy to say, she is part of our Chelle Beautiful group in addition to working in massage therapy. We are so glad to be her creative outlet and so are the children of Bellingham! (;
Katrina Rose Agnew
Katrina has lived in the Skagit Valley and had a passion for the theater arts her whole life. She has played the lead roles in Aida, Anything goes, Rabbit Hole, Moon over Buffalo, and , most recently, Serena in Legally Blond the Musical. Katrina has been in over 40 productions, and has also worked as a stage manager, back stage hand, lights, and as a hair/make up designer.
She studies at the Vocalist Studio in Seattle with master vocal coach Robert Lunte and has trained classically in music for years. Last year, she performed at Disney world, and this summer she will travel to New York to compete in a world wide acting/singing/dancing competition. Katrina hopes to travel the world doing what she loves most!
For now, Chelle Beautiful is lucky to share her long list of talents with Northern Washington as Tinkerbell and Ariel.
Rochelle Walden
Rochelle has a background in buying, merchandising and advertising for multi-million dollar retail stores, and as a business coach. She is the founder and former owner of Best Face Painter in Fort Collins, Colorado, and has been a face-painter for about 9 years, 5 of which she has been pretty darn good. Rochelle moved from Fort Collins, Colorado to Bellingham, Washington with her family in 2011, after visiting and being astounded at the natural beauty and vibrant business community Bellingham provides. She has been married to John Walden for 18 years, and has a 12 year old son and 14 year old daughter.
Rochelle is proud of the quality artwork and entertainment provided by the diverse group of artists at Chelle and excited about growing such a dynamic business here in Bellingham to serve Northern Washington. Chelle Beautiful has expanded to 14 part-time artists to support a brisk business, and attributes a huge part of it’s success and visibility to the weekly Bellingham Farmer’s Market. Campbell Walden
You may have been painted by Campbell at many area events and parties and realized that she is a terrific artist and fun-loving gal , but you may not have realized that she is only 14 years old. Campbell has been practicing facepainting since she was seven, and has been working as a paid face-painter for Best Face Painter in Fort Collins, and now Chelle Beautful since she was 11.
She is currently a freshman at Sehome highschool, where she takes several advanced classes and is a violin player in the Sehome Highschool Orchestra. Fastpitch Softball and Volleyball keep her busy as well as the (so far) 23 chapter novel she ‘s working on. Campbell is kindhearted, dedicated to her artwork, and gentle with children, and would be an asset to any group no matter what her age.
